KresoF1:
Great pics and video.
Just... And this is not criticism, more a personal opinion. To my taste optional sport exhaust on R8 can be little bit annoying. Too much pop corn sound for me. It bothered me at my R8 V10 Plus test drive. In my opinion 991 GT3 and GT3 RS sport exhaust is almost tuned to perfection. Otherwise V10 sounds amazing but, sport exhaust attenuates wrong things IMHO.
This is my weekend toy and so far, I haven't felt annoyed by it. I can control this popping sound with my throttle foot, so...
On the contrary: Lately, I got the feeling that the "pop corn sound" is a bit muted, so my car will be at the dealer for a week to figure out what is going on. No kidding. Actually, I am more afraid the overall sound could get quieter if there is a problem somewhere, so I want them to check this out before it gets worse. My mechanic suspects an issue with the vacuum hose or a mechanical part but like I said, the sound is loud but the "pop corn" isn't popping as loud as it should.
If the R8 would be my daily driver, I would simply switch to Comfort mode but keep the exhaust turned on. Still loud but no more "popping".
