    Silver foglights or not?

    I not too impressed by the silver ring/stripe around the foglights. Here's a quick PS I did, what do you guys think?

    Now it looks like a Porsche instead of car with a New Beetle or new Audi A4 parts bin purchase .


    If I were getting a light colored Cayman, I'd have an appointment with the local paint shop prearranged before delivery date !

    i think if the car is in black colour it would look even better and more aggressive..

    at least can cover up the fog light things..

    Is it just the angle of some of these photos, or does the shape of the front bumper differ from the 987, in that the top sticks out sharper and angles in towards the body towards the bottom - rather than being more rounded?

    Just get it in Black or any dark metallic. Problem solved.

    Yes it would look better in a darker color, doesn't look that great in silver IMO.

    Yep, I think your right.....a little different all the way around from the Boxster.

    I think it looks better in the PS. Still think it looks good though as is.
    You're right about the looks of the 996TT and Cayman.
    It will be very interesting to see if they incorporate the light into the 997TT. From spyshots of the 997TT it looks like it also has an additional light in the front bumper.

    i think it looks better with the foglight silver rings

    if you take them away it seems like it's missing.

    I'm amazed at how much attention is on these foglights. Just take an axe and fix it huh.? ha ah joking
    but seriously it is interesting
    Its great how detail oriented the people on this site are.
    In really life most people would never even know that it has foglights.
