new 4S

Guys, is the 997 C4S 44mm wider than the 997 C2S, or the same? (I think it's the same)

Please see the previous threads on the launch of the C4 and C4S. Porsche has confirmed that they are 44mm wider.

Please check our previous threads/posts regarding the C4S.
Also check out the official press info in our NEWS section.
The C4S is 44 mm wider in the rear compared to the 997 Carrera/Carrera S. It is hardly visible though.

Exactly, they should have done something to differentiate the widebody models a little more

for example, the underbumper vents near the mufflers on the 996s (even though the C4S ones were fake). and the red strip...

guess they are saving these aggressive styling touches for the uber models

can't wait

I have the old C4S, I'm going to wait for the new turbo look... I'm not so keen on the front styling of the new cars,

You might have to wait long for that one. Don't think there will be a 4S Turbo-look anymore.

You can see it is slightly wider by looking outside of the tailpipes, is probably more noticeable there than it is at the arches.
