Patriek I have been doing some checking and I believe the reason Ben had that sense was because of the dampening affect of the Shyhook system. It is not to say something is wrong or inferior.

One thing I know is if I was going into battle, I would want you on my side.

It is not to say something is wrong or inferior.

exactly. it's just not involving or communicative, but that trade off provides for an amazingly smooth and comfortably ride and drive. i'm anxious to see what it's like with CST off.

i think we all remember the exchange wherein someone called your driving ability and experience into question and you ridiculously brought up go kart racing days as kids against schumy back before schumy could drive. his competitive achievements vs. yours are telling. it was just highly ironic you'd be using my driving experience to debunk an opinion i had while driving the new Ferrari SL430. get it now? if not, i can't take it any slower for you. maybe your difficulty in understanding is owing to my failure to use your funny wittle pictures like

speaking of irony, do you happen to remember your negative first driving experience in the Ferrari SL430 you posted here? (i do)

Ben , my driver skills are made out of RACING (YES RACING )!!and I'm driving F cars since I own my drivers lisence....(18 here in Belgium)

So please tell me WHAT ARE YOURS ????? before taking mine into question !!

but the SL430 (at least I have one) is growing on me, and it sure not as bad as your stupied comments trying to tell us.

you really think you are 'sonmething' doesn't you, but remember, you're just NOTHING TO ME !!! please keep that in mind

Actually Rayn, both of them have been equally rude, so, let's not take sides. As to saying: "at least I have one"... what's wrong with that? He does and, therefore, has more extensive drive time with the F430. Ben had a very limited experience with Nick's car and his comments reflect that. Patriek needs to take it with a grain of salt and not so personally. But again, both were equally rude. And it doesn't matter who started it, but, who's willing to take the high road from here on...

Patriek's remarks: "Ben, your driving (impressions and) skills are based on what ?? driving like a sissy and poseur over the american high ways."

you're right, even though ALL my comments were in RESPONSE to patriek's (beginning with his tantrum in the first post of mine which obviously was not directed or addressed to him), it's no excuse. so, i'm going "to take the high road" and just ignore the wittle man.

I am really happy for you because it is obvious you LOVE that car. . . and with good reason, it sounds! Thanks for your very well stated initial impressions of the 430. It seems to me many others' first impressions are similar to yours, and that continues to build a good rep for the car. I hope you continue to refine your driving impressions with us, especially regarding some of that lightness at speed stuff which Mr Z has mentioned too.
YOU are indeed very fortunate.
