    997S First contact -pics

    Picked it up this afternoon and went for a drive, still under break-in unfortunately but I will post a full review as soon as I get more miles on it of testing. But if I can sum up my first impression in a couple of words its: I'm so glad I got the -20mm!! wow!

    I will comment later on more elaborately but the PSE in ON mode vs OFF mode is very apparent already and its not burned-in yet, and the tire pressure system seemed to work great.


    Anyway, I pulled over in the middle of the drive and stopped to take a few pictures for the fellow rennteamer's excuse bad quality but the lighting was poor and the photographer sucks

    Congrats Carlos, I can only imagine how you must feel after all these months.

    I really like photo 3--the compound curve on the rear Carrera classic wheel is just too cool.

    Have a great time, it's nice when the wait is over. Some say that once you have the car, you forget about the wait. Not me, IT SUCKED. So have fun!!! And don't worry too much about that 4,000 mark on the tach. Break-in procedures are written by engineers....... AND THEN totally re-written and exaggerated ten-fold by tie-wearing front-office cover-the-company's-backside-ad-nauseum bean-counters!!! You know it's true!!

    I ordered it in late Decenber but was put on waiting due to the Sport Exhaust not being available at the time. Otherwise it would of been 2-3 months of wait.

    Please beleive me, it looks so fantastic under that so nice stormy weather......I feel relly anxious to read your first impressions driving such a sculpture......so well appointed....and in such roads!

    .....I also went to the -20mm, sport exhaust, etc. but I'll still have to wait until july.....I feel death every single day!.....In any case, also feeling really very happy to see yours..........(your colour is making me doubting about my choice so, so much!) Thaks a lot for the pics!

    Looks fantastic. I think that black looks better when it is a little overcast or cloudy as opposed to bright sunshine - has that slick look. Hope you find many miles of open road to enjoy it to the full!
