Is the guy in the picture the owner of that car? If not, interesting that the F430 owner, parked on a crosswalk in front of Starbucks patio cafe. Then again, one of the main attractions for Ferrari lovers is the "Hey, look at me! I own this car!" factor. To me the car is obvious enough without having to park it in everyone's face but hey, that's just me.

it's nick w/ his beautiful new car
"i" pulled it into the crosswalk so i could get the starbucks sign in the picture. nick and i both wanted that shot for this board. he's a good sport.

Ron, if you can distinguish a particular SD Starbucks from that pic, Starbucks clearly hasn't blanketed US w/enough of their stores.... 
Jeff, it's a modest pic....what would've been priceless is a pic of 430 parked sideways across the handicapped spots in front of Starbucks....or in the drive-through line at McD's/InNOut Burgers.....

i love this shot. thank you. you really can see that nick isn't posing -- he's just on top of the world in that moment. and deservedly so. car's so great.

BTW, keep hearing that 430 premiums are rapidly compressing down to $50K zipcode...rumors of high, early produc vols and dealers putting more early 430s in hands of non-flipping buyers at MSRP....gotta flip that 430 fast to some savvy guy who can't figure out how to get a 430 at MSRP this yr....such a sophisticated "investment" scheme

The Whole Foods (former Ralphs) on Villa La Jolla Dr. is high end enough for an area where fish tacos are considered haute cuisine .

I agree the premium has fallen but they are still getting $70,000 over. It probably will level out at $50,000.

Could you do me a favor and post more pics of the car? (especially ones showing the interior and how it works with the exterior).
My 360 was red on black but I was always a bit bored with a black interior. The more and more I think about it, I'm considering doing the 430 in a red on tan so I'm looking for good examples of the combo.
I am also considering a yellow exterior, but then I'm afraid I'd be stuck with a black interior again which I don't want to do.

OK Nick, next time I'm in the area, I'll pay for a round of golf at Torrey Pines in return. But we'll take my 997S there because I don't think we can fit the golf bags in your 430.
