    Fantastic Driving Roads.. and no Porsche

    Wow - out in Atlanta this week and next, took a drive out to the mountains, boy do I wish I had my Boxster over here rather than this top heavy Ford Escape (sort of Freelander size).... fantastic sweeping roads - finally dispelled the myth that all US raods are dead straight

    Exactly why I feel bad for guys who live in places like Florida. I'm sure there are a few twisty roads here and there, but nothing like the road you might find in more moutaneous areas.

    Agreed - you Brits should come visit Colorado - some pretty sweet roads out here We have the highest paved road in the continental US (14,200 ft high)

    And you missed me offroading in Sussex this morning, truly justifying my dirty girl's name. The rims were covered 2 inches deep in fertile English soil. A story with the title "What happens if you follow your NAV system". Narrow country roads & heavy rain & pothole on one side = offroadin on the other side. Wish I had a camera with me before I rinsed her off.

    Sorry I couldn't sync up with you Rich, I was also out of town last weekend (in the mountains of North Carolina in fact) without my Boxster S.

    The twisty roads here in the North Georgia mountains are incredible. And the nice thing is that it is just a short drive from Atlanta.
