It seems I'm the only black sheep here. I would go for the powerkit, not because you need or could "feel" the extra power but just for the physiological ego-boost of knowing you have the best C2S out there. When you option a car out to the max but leave one (major) option out you may feel a little deficient, well, I would... maybe there's something wrong with me lol
Thanks all, again!
Rennteam is so awesome!!!
Danny, I totally agree with you, and you know what, this is exactly why I ordered the Powerkit in the 1st place, and I know it's gonna sound really really really sad, but it is mostly vanity and I was looking forward to show off on Rennteam and yes, I admit too, I was proud to announce it 6 weeks ago too.
But I've thought long and hard about it, and it's true, there will be a part of me that will say, boy, two more months and you could have had it but honestly, the fact I don't have the driving ability to feel it, the fact that there is no exterior sign to show it (sad but a bit true), the fact It's two more months, the fact it's the cost of a car itself, the fact it'll have zero resale value (thanks for confirming Darius), etc etc etc.
Better off getting the real thing later then (GT3 or something like that).
Rami,
Keep me updated about that PSI thing.
I met the PSI guy at my 1st rallye de Paris, he came from Belgique with a rather special 996GT2, very nice guy it seemed.
RC,
I agree with you re tuning, people have a lot more experience on the GT3 engine than the new one but hopefully, in two years, they'll know about it too.
We'll see anyway, learning how to tame the 355 hp and mastering the car AT THE LIMIT (It really is my goal) will take me a LONG LONG LONG time!
