    new gt3 for switzerland, the one and only in white

    last friday, we received the ordered gt3. i wrote you some month ago, that a friend of mine, ordered one in carrara white. here it is. and you can see the diffrent protectors on it from the transport.
    it should be the only one in white in switzerland, for sure in "cs"-version...
    what do you think? quite nice?

    very nice car, I envy you... how long will it take to deliver it from the customs to the dealer and finally pick it up?

    BTW, my black one is scheduled for delivery in autumn... can't wait

    And the white cars behind the GT3 are a bunch of new GT3 RS, right? Just kidding.

    The car looks great in Carrera White. I too feel envious but it is great that you can be in a GT3.

    i hope i can take place this week. my friend informed me this evening. he looks forward and thinks that it's not a problem to do the first testtrack. i will write some words about it, next week or so.

    for all enthusiasts, it's called carrAra white, you can see it on the sticker, the white one i posted.

    exclusive fahrzeug, is also an interesting sentence...

    i ask as I also have a white GT3 July build coming, and own a SY GT2....
    great photos.
    If you can compare it to the GT2 and tell us how it drives soon, we'll be glad.

    you are right, it is a gt2 on my small picture. i had one only for 8 months during last summer. so i drove one season also on track... compared with the old gt3 from a friend of mine, the gt2 had a lot more powerful breaking system. i had the ceramic ones with the yellow calipers. clubsport was a must. i found the gt2 not as precisely as the gt3 because of the weight. power is one thing but weight the other. the gt2 was better balanced and the brakes had an amazing braking behavior. i think it was the reason, that the gt2 was 2 years younger and better developed than the gt3 from my friend. but for a driver like me, the gt3 had enough power and because of the weight it was hard two find out wich one was faster for me. but with the new one, i think the decision could be easier?? low weight always wins against power... :grin:

    well, the new gt3, at least mine, will have the same brakes as the gt2. in usa, it will be only 100 pounds or less in weight than a gt2.
    I am vey interested in what you said, and I will let you know when i drive my gt3 -probably august/sept- how it compares.
    i am very fond of gt2's, relative to a TT they seem light, tossable and responsive, so they remind me of my 70S... although just a bit heavier!! but it's nice to have air cond. and i guess the airbags, although i have thought of taking out the interior and putting on carbon doors and bonnet, but it';s a street car with more power than traction already, so why bother.

    Pickup!

    Last saturday, partyboy and I went to pick up the much-discussed white gt3 in chur together with the (very happy :cool:) owner. Here are some pics from a memorable day!

    P.S. unfortunately, I was "forced" to choose another color for my gt3 cs, scheduled for delivery in autumn, because 2 in white would probably be too much for zurich... :grin: What do you guys think about plain black, boring?

    regarding your color question: i would choose white as well, but black would be the other option. i saw a black GT3 at my porsche dealer last week -- it looked extremly agressive! there are a lot of black 996 out there, but none with such a rear wing and this low...

    thanks, zzboba, you don't have a good picture of a black one by any chance? there are some on mobile.de, but the resolution is just too low to really appreciate the color. I'm thinking about "atlas grey" as well, but so far no one has seen this color in real life...
