Considering 997S, please explain suspension options
I've just recently become interested in the 997S, but I'm having some difficulty determining exactly what suspension options are available - and how worthwhile each of them are. I've read a tremendous amount, and searched etc, but any help you could provide answering these questions would be very much appreciated:
1. The PASM: is the sport/stiff mode stiff enough for serious track use? Any comparison to the GT3 suspension? Does the lack of a mechanical diff (LSD) create a noticably different driving experience?
2. The Sport Package: I'm not sure exactly what this includes, but I've heard at least lowered suspension and a real LSD are part of it. I've also heard it's not available in the US. Anyone know more?
3. What is the -20mm suspension option? Is it nothing more than lower suspension at the expense of the PASM? Reviews?
I've never had a Porsche before, but I think the time has come. Any help you can provide me in my quest for the car best suited to me is much appreciated.
