    My sense is many of these cars (of any brand) are kind of binary....the lemonish ones seem to show themselves within first 1-2K miles....have a pal who got new 430 about 3-4 wks ago who's already beaten the sh*t out of it for over 2K miles of aggressive mtn driving/urban commuter work (no break-in period needed for cars one doesn't keep for more than 5-10K miles anyway before moving on to next new toy)....and car's systems and F1 tranny have been flawless....only gripes are CD player seems dysfunctional and no one seems to know how to make the Bluetooth function operational....oh, and the gas mileage is even more horrific than CS'....the increased frequency of gas station visits is slowing down his avg MPH....

    I found the link w/ a Stradale on a track while I was at the office and can't locate it now from home. I forgot where I found it.

    But found this looking for the other one w/ a Stradale.

    I took some pictures today trying to get the 3M to show up. There's no way to see it from a picture on the entire front of the car's nose because you can't even see it in person. On the nose the edges are tucked into the panels and applied right up into where the the front grills start. The installer even ran the film underneath the front lip in case it rubs on an incline. You also can't see the film on the headlights. Uness you run your finger along the edge of the film on the headlights you can't tell the 3M is there. . I was able to get a couple of shots where you can see the 3M. You can see it where there is an exposed edge like across the hood, behind the rear wheels and along the rocker panel. I'll try to post some pics showing that. First I need to send a test pic because I haven't used photoshop from home so I'm not sure if the pics will be the right size.

    Applied behind the rear wheel:
    Having this done and behind the front wheels is even more useful then having
    it done across the nose. Sand and pebbles that get kicked up from the tires eat away at the paint.:

    You can see the line along the bottom of the door in this photo. The 3M runs from that point down around the entire car except the rear. It covers the rocker panels. You can also see a line right above the signal light where the 3M is on the front fender. That piece gets tucked into the inside of the front wheel wells where a lot of Ferrari's have the most amount of paint grinded off.

    Forgot. You can also see where it is applied on the mirrors if you look at it from the right angle.

    you have to have in mind that it's the lenses that make the picture, not necesseraly the chip or software stuff.

    my brother uses a very good sony digicam with a lot of manual possibilities.
