    My new 997S Cab Black/Beige

    Hey guys, went to pick up my new 997S Cab, on friday. So far I am very pleased with it, just wish I had ordered the PSE beforehand. Will get that retrofitted later I guess... Otherwise the handling is great, the engine response with the sport mode on is instant! K well enough talking, here are some pics.

    QUEESTION:


    i notice that in right hand drive carreras the center console(front+rear)part stay the same as in left handed cars...


    The hand brake must be difficult to operate as it is from the other side of the ashtray!!!!!!


    Also the buttons from the PCM are the opposite way!

    And more strange is center compartment !

    IT HAS THE OPENING LEVEL FROM THE DRIVERS SIDE!!!

    HOW CAN YOU OPEN THE CENTER COMPARTMENT IF YOUR HAND MUST PULL FROM THE DRIVES SIDE?

    Very very awkwardly. I don't dare to access the center compartment while driving. It's the same in the UK Boxster.

    Grats on your new beauty Mike S! Nice color offset in the floormats. I could also imagine the interior to look good in black/beige two-tone leather (if it was available).

    I have a question.
    From some of the cabs I've seen if you don't order the leather sunvisors they come in black. But yours are tan.
    Are they leather ?

    Yes stradale, those are leather covered sun visors, it came xtra. Btw you asked for some more pics, will do so this afternoon

    Oops, it's basalt black Seven. Yes the weather is 70% sunny all year round in South Africa

    I have them coming on my car too.
