Yes he seems to have a "special" taste (not my cup of tea),... but who cares... each to their own...wink

    Re: [2022] Formula 1

Hamilton is a mixed race individual and he follows an African-European culture in terms of fashion, hairstyle  and general aesthetics.

Nothing can detract from Lewis Hamilton's brilliance and his achievements in motorsport from the age of 11 in anything he has tried from karts to F1.

You need to relax - there's no hate here, and your use of the word stereotypes you.  We all love Racing, everything else is just waiting.  We all respect Lewee for what he's achieved.  Individual's foibles are a harmless source of amusement.  Even laughing at Seb, bites the hand that feeds you, VettelSmiley

    Re: [2022] Formula 1

Well, Ferrari almost found a way to fuck themselves again, thank god Sainz was selfish enough to be able to keep the win for Ferrari. And his very first win to boot.

Great racing among the front runners at the end, wow. Amazing wheel to wheel action by Perez, Leclerc, Hamilton, Alonso and even Norris.

Leclerc didn't do what Verstappen did last year at Corpse, he kept his line racing against Hamilton and didn't turn in and try and crash out Hamilton, that's why both get to finish and earn points. These guys are all clean racers.

About Verstapppen, as usual, he whine on the radio the whole time when things didn't go his way. Also some questionable driving at the end while defending against Schumacher, twice he ran him off the road in order to keep the place.

Amazing race from Perez, another great recovery from dead last.

Halo works, again. Zhou's incident looks horrific but he was in fact ok.

Austria next week, could Ferrari bring the fight to Red Bull's backyard? And in what way Ferrari will try and fuck their drivers?

    Re: [2022] Formula 1

A great race! Clean, hard wheel to wheel action in the closing laps.

congrats to Carlos - so pleased for him.

    Perez - great recovery drive

    Zhou was truly trapped there.

It wouldn't have been a good result had the car caught fire.

Scary crashes, glad Zhou was okay.  Max sounding like Lewis on the radio today.

Ferrari!!!  Nice job Carlos!!!!!!!  BAD JOB BINOTTI.

    Re: [2022] Formula 1

Ferrari fucked today three times Charles. First he was stuck to many laps after Carlos, then after pit stop the same situation, team order was too late. And then during saftey car phase, Charles would loose maximum two positions and would have fresh soft tires. He would have won the race.

Next up, Russell and Norris gunning for their first victory.

Fingers crossed for a really wet race in Austria to really mix up the grid!

And what class Russell shows. He literally run over to check on Zhou and also direct marshals around the crash.

Max being Max once again. He didn't leave room to MSC several times at the end:

Great race overrall. Halo saved another life Smiley

Perharps Hamilton could have won or be second if that Safety Car didn't came at the end. He had hard tires 10 laps newer than Ferraris. Also that 4.6s pit stop was not in his favour. Mercedes need to start practising pit stops!

    Re: [2022] Formula 1

They could have pitted LEC (with plenty of time to double stack SAI) and he would have still come out in the lead… with fresh tires!!! FFS!!

Binottis is a slow thinker, the game is too fast fo him.

    Re: [2022] Formula 1

Ferrari could have easy 1 and 2 today after the slow pit stop from Lewis and due to SC.

They need some data analysis team with real time simulation of all possibilities. Then they get the right decision from a computer and not from Binotti

    Re: [2022] Formula 1

Max's blocked arterySmiley. If he'd waited to pass Carlos maybe Carlos would have bulldozed that part, the chances of racing!!

    https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/wedged-alphatauri-endplate-wrecked-verstappens-british-gp/10332702/

Wedged AlphaTauri endplate wrecked Verstappen’s British GP
Max Verstappen’s British Grand Prix hopes were wrecked by a front wing endplate from Red Bull’s sister Formula 1 team AlphaTauri getting stuck under his floor and ruining his aerodynamics.

Television footage had shown him hitting a part from Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari early on in the race, and it was thought that it could have been related to that.

However, it was only after the grand prix that Red Bull discovered the problem had actually been caused by the endplate from an AlphaTauri front wing getting embedded underneath the Dutchman's RB18.

The part had been ripped off after AlphaTauri team-mates Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly collided on lap 11, wrecking their own squad’s hope of points.

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner, who showed reporters later on a photo of Verstappen in the post-race debrief holding the endplate, reckoned that the disruption to his car’s airflow was costing Verstappen about 20 percent of his peak downforce.

“We didn't have a puncture,” explained Horner, reflecting on Verstappen’s problem.

“He was reporting, because it was so bad, that it felt like a puncture. But basically on lap 11, he hit a piece of debris which was an AlphaTauri part from an incident that they had.

“So he's then done the race with a modified floor that had a piece of an AlphaTauri endplate stuck under the bottom of the car. It stayed in there and got stuck and wedged itself almost like a blockage.”

Wonder if Horner will send the repair bill to Alpha TauriSmiley

I mean, he was harping about Hamilton sending Max off into the distance creating a massive repair bill last year, why isn't he being consistent with his believes? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank god Perez isn't part of the whining crew at Red Bull.

    Re: [2022] Formula 1

That's silly, he's merely reporting the source of the loss of speed, when changing tyres did nothing. I would have been very perturbed myself after the tyres.

But, I agree Woke and Whinge is the new F1, under the leadership of Chief Whinger "It's Undriveable" Leweemail  Merc 4.3 s pit on 34 hurt him.

Checo did a great race, consummated. by shredding Lewee both timesSmiley. And fun. to see TWO Ferraris racing each other.  Chuck's pass on Lewee. in Copse was superb, and Chuck should be glad his damage was less than Max's.

That post SC last ten laps is worth watching twenty times -- More please!!!!!!!

I would argue Gasly gave him a love tap to start the whole chain of events..............

He can't possibly expect a space that was available for Latifi to go through would still be there quite a while later with all the moving cars in front of him. It's not like he was nose to tail with Latifi as a train coming through.
