So both Toto and Lewis won't be at the Gala tonight.

Lewis is supposed to be required at the Gala as per the Sporting Code. 

Makes you wonder how will FIA handle another mess. Will they sanction Lewis for missing the Gala? Or will they bend another rule and let this slide? Neither choice is a win for the FIA. 

if they sanction Lewis, that shows the world that their rules are only bendable for 'other' teams. If they let it slide, then their own integrity is shattered even more than it already has 

2021 F1 season will be remembered for FIA shooting their own foot multiple times and during all that mess, Max won his 1st WDC. 

 

 

But the consensus is that Lewis is the classiest guy in the world. Surely he'll be there. Smiley
