The original Singers were about 400-500k USD I think.

They can not sell these engines anymore due to emissions regulations. I wonder why replacing the engine in a 964 chassis doesn't trigger any emissions control regulations in California. I think a new Singer will never pass TUV in Europe, or am I wrong?

The very first ones were between 300 to 380k...then jack up the price to 500K range with the 4.0L

And the 4.0L in the DLS multiplies the price several-fold...
