Picked up my 997s on Sunday 13th. Two days later when driving slowly in a parking area heard a sort of clunky-thunky noise from rear offside. Since then I have found that car seems OK when going above about 10 MPH but below that speed the noise reappears when going over even very small bumps.

Went to dealer today they asked a mechanic to go with me to listen. Even within half a mile mechanic said car definitely had a problem. After 10 minutes on service ramp the service mamager came and told me that mechanic thinks it must be the shock absorber (I guess he means the PASM damper??). They have had no 997 failures of this part and so need to order one specially - car booked in for fix on April 7th.

I am not happy!
