Keep in mind there is no regular service for these cars and I don’t see that failures will be as prevalent as with other types of cars to start with. That said they strike me as more than capable of addressing this type of issue with a new and more effective approach than we have seen in the past.  Keep in mind their current system was likely implemented with the best of intentions to revolutionize the customer experience so if there is something they can improve I doubt they will hold back. I think they have the money to do this.
