Seems like the F8 has the full 720hp as it gains on the turbo above 200kph. Seems as quick as the 720s.

Nope, the 720S still outruns the F8 at higher speeds (over 220 kph), we tried(!), which makes me wonder how much power the 720S engine actually has... I know that McLaren owners often claim that it has the 720 hp McLaren says but most dyno tests has unveiled something different. It will be interesting to see how much power the 765LT has...in real life.

The 720S has.............720PS, I have about 8 separate tests done on different cars in different parts of the world on the super accurate Maha MSR500 chassis dyno, I've pasted two below and like I said I've got copies of quite a few more all bang on the 720PS mark.

Unfortunately most other chassis dynos are just not good at giving real engine dyno equivalent accurate numbers. One of the reasons the 720S is so fast is the shape of the power curve it has over 720PS from 6500 to 8000 rpm this gives much more acceleration than for example the GT2RS whose power curve literally rises in a 45 degree angle up to 700PS so has much less power under the curve.

The 765LT will be a lot quicker and again everyone will claim more power because.....look at the area under the curve, Smiley
