I can join you with whatever has an engine 😉 but the other water fun stuff, I leave to my wife. She just found a new passion in wakesurfing after she is already a pro with waterskiing and wakeboarding.

In that case how have you avoided getting a powerboat??  People with kids (or wives) around here have them by the thousands, despite our summer being 8-10 weeks at best....Smiley

If I would live in Florida, I'd definitely have a powerboat. A good friend of mine has one in Miami but he doesn't let me drive it (see photo), it is his baby. Smiley Smiley He holds the world record for the fastest USA-Cuba crossing. Smiley This thing has 2700 hp and does over 200 kph on water. Smiley

Maybe it is better that way, this thing is really scary. I even have a Florida boating license (aka Florida Boating Safety Education ID card), valid in most US states. My wife has a German and international boating license but she doesn't like fast boats.

We always rent a powerboat at Lake Mead (Las Vegas) but it isn't really a powerboat per se, has only a 250 hp V8 but it is still enough to scare my wife from time to time. Smiley
