RC,

we are comparing performance only here not the emotion. Indeed the EVO is a fair upgrade tech wise compared to the .1 version and this is documented and advertised by Lambo. In regards to perf comparison, they are advertised with same capabilities.

I understand the appeal for the more emotional car and most of the guys in this forum will go for that, even me. I don't downgrade the performante as it is a very good car. I am still looking here and there as the price is becoming interesting for the offered package.

I was just replying to your excessive enthusiasm in regards to much higher performance which is not the case...there is certainly a more mechanical feel in the performante but the V10 from one to the other is the same beast. yells to the same level and deliver the same punch.

Which one is better? For me the performante. For the public? probably the regular one as it didn't sell well.yes

Now let's see what the ''RS'' version will propose. smiley

No, we are comparing facts. Smiley

The upcoming "STS" is a different story of course, this car will be highly track focused but also limited and in a completely different price range (base price in Germany incl. VAT starting at +300k EUR). Looking at the new AMG GT Black Series, I kind of get the feeling that +300 k is the new track worthy supercar price level, which would be regrettable.
