Frank, I haven't driven the AMG GT R yet, so I don't have a clue how good or bad traction is, you're right.

However, looking at AMG's track record lately (incl. the new C63 AMG Coupe S and even the sedan), I am very skeptical. Of course, the GT R is a different kind of beast but... yes

Maybe I kind of gave up on AMG after the AMG GT and the very high hopes attached to it. 

Is it weird that I'm still in love with the old SLS? yes

Of course 570 hp are adequate...if the car has the traction to put these horses on the road and if the weight is OK. Judging by the 0-100 kph claim however, I have my doubts but like I said before, I haven't driven the car yet, so this is pure speculation.
