So why don’t you wear Casios? Remember in the 90s everyone thought the mechanical watches would be killed by the quartz?

I don’t know about you, but if you ever purchase older cars, two things dates these cars.  First is the navigation (if equipped) and the transmission.  I had a 360CS, I love everything about it except the stupid single clutch automated F1 transmission.  If that car had a manual transmission, it would be an instant classic.  Same thing with the Carrera GT.  Can you imagine Porsche installing the Tiptronic gearbox in that thing? mail

A lot of modern cars are now too fast to be equipped with the manual transmission and this is where I believe Porsche has found its niche.  Modern GT3RS can’t compete with Mclarens or Ferrari in terms of power, not even close.  So the NA engine (some may argue that is an obsolete dinosaur too) and the manual transmission has become Porsche GT cars unique attributes.
