Appreciate light weight ethos of GT P's

But even in CA, during winter have early AM w/~50F temps; and in summer early AM sometimes face coastal fog/mist creating patches of damp roads in coastal mtn twisties: all times of day when best driving can occur w/minimal traffic, all in mtn backyards of arguably world's two most important urban regions: LA & SF

Thus, underwhelmed by GT cars w/tires that don't work vs those-often conditions in mtns yr-round nr LA&SF

Suspect track-oriented drivers don't fully understand risks of driving in mtn roads in early AM, where GT cars w/their track-optimized tires are prob poor confidence-inspirers/performers vs any 992TTS on fresh summer perf tires, for those seeking to drive precisely on mtn rds, not seeking to set times, but savoring attributes of car's precision/stability, while protecting selves & able to navigate surprise bikers/deer/sloppy oncoming cars, etc of the real world of blind curves of mtn twisties, even in early wkend AM in coastal CA

This writing style reminds me of a rennteam member from long ago - also from CA, a big fan of AMG, and especially the use of "/" marks. Could it be that you have returned after all of these years?  Smiley
