I have said it before...more power without addressing the hesitation issue is just more wasted power.

If Gemballa or any other tuner can solve the hesitation problem, Porsche can and better solve it also.

I have wondered for a while if the hesitation wasn't by design so Porsche could get a simple model upgrade down the line. The "changed accelerator pedal characteristics" wording in the Powerkit press release clearly indicates that Porsche recognizes this as a problem and is already moving in that direction:

"The 50 HP power increase is achieved by an optimised flow design of the intercooler combined with further developed
engine management. In conjunction with changed accelerator pedal characteristics, this results in an optimised torque buildup and even sportier engine characteristics. The maximum torque has increased from 620 to 700 newton metres and is available between 2,250 and 4,750 revolutions."
