I wonder what redline the new race car will have?  And what about the road car(s) at a presumed 4.2L?

Since the displacement to 4.2L was gained from bore (unlike 4.0 which is a Stroked 3.8L), there is no change in piston speed at same revs.  2.5mm additional bore does result in slightly heavier pistons (unless some new lightening technology), but shouldn’t mean lower revs.  If there were still some revs left on the table on the 4.0, we could even see small increases...
