While the exterior of the Singer and Ruf may have similarities, they are very different under the skin (the Singer is a 964-era 911 from 1989-1994) and the Ruf is a completely new carbon tub with racecar like pushrod suspension, etc.

But the air-cooled engine that Singer has designed with Williams F1 is beyond awesome.  Would be interesting to see a marriage of Ruf carbon chassis with Singer/Williams air-cooled 4-valve >9,000 rpm engine:
