Wonderbar:

Bluelines, a bit more regarding your comparison between the 991.2 4GTS and the 992 4S.  I am not disputing your impressions (steering and engine response, plastic paddles, etc.) and I think you have overall been quite fair and informative.  But I think it is also pertinent to consider that:

1.  991.2 base cost (at least in USA) is $127K versus the 992 S cost of $120K.

2.  991.2 HP is 450, versus 992 of 443 HP.

3.  991.2 torque is 405 lb-ft, 992 is 390 lb-ft.

4.  At least on paper with sport chrono, 991.2 is 3.4 to 60 mph, 992 is 3.2.

I am also not saying that a move up to the 992 is "worth it".  That decision is always a personal one.  The real decision will probably come when the new 992 GTS comes out.  wink

I think you are mixing up BHP with HP for the 992. It has 443 BHP and 450 HP. Identical to the 991.2 GTS.

You are right with the torque 530 Nm in the 992 vs 550 Nm in the 991.2 GTS.

To me there is a larger difference in driving experience between the 991.1 and 991.2 than between the 991.2 and the 992.

My decision will likely depend on the next GT4 or GT3 Touring Smiley
