The 930 had a ‘wet mode”, it was activated by the accelerator.

Hasn't the Ferrari manettino always had a wet setting for many years now?

That's correct.

I don't get the hype about this "new" Porsche feature at all. All what they've done is to install some sensor, that will tell you to switch to wet mode. As if I can't see and feel that on my own, don't need a sensor to tell me to do so. Smiley

From the description of the Wet Mode, everything on the RWD model could have been decided and selected by the driver using the variables of individual functions (throttle, PDK gearbox, suspension).

However, on the AWD model the Wet Mode sends consistently more torque to the front axle and that might be the only novelty of the system.

To my understanding PSM and aero mode are also different in wet mode Smiley

I've found this animation which is very explanatory of how the parameters change. It seems that not all the parameters could have been driver selected individually. Smiley
