Technically, at some point, there will be ESP systems which allow the driver to floor the throttle and drive on the Nordschleife at full speed without even proper knowledge of the quirks of the track and/or the behavior of the car.

I remember my first test-drive with the McLaren 12C and how impressed I was with the traction control and ESP setup. It may sound a bit exaggerated but I could basically press the throttle and the ESP did the rest of the job... angry A much more sophisticated system could easily compensate for driver error/skills and other stuff, incl. GPS controlled street/track adaptation. Sounds like the future? I am pretty sure it will be possible soon.
