The thing is: Dealers badly "need" the 992 to be able to actually sell cars. This is probably the reason why it has been changed again (initially, the rumor was Paris, then Geneva and now LA). Most dealers in Germany and other parts of Europe basically have no new cars to sell, the 992 is very very important to them.

Yes, Porsche already offers for dealers all 911 (991.2) Carrera 4 GTS variants with Euro 6d temp certification (starting Oct. 2018) but this is not enough I'm afraid.

Btw: The Cayman PDK and Cayman GTS PDK are now Euro 6d temp certified as well.
