Me and Dave noticed a few cars last time at the track with a missing cap . 

It never happened to me nor to him and we have done quite a few track days over the last 3 years 

Don't you need a special tool to take them off ?

 

The car includes the special tool - you will find it inside the center lock socket under the cover in the front storage area (the part you remove to access things like the battery and brake fluid).  Under a round plastic cap on driver's side of the car. Takes only a few seconds to remove and replace the car (unlike the center-locks themselves).
