I had the same rims on my former RS and had no problems at all with stone chips on the rims  , even-though my hood was covered with some chips

i remember you telling us about a rock chip on your RS. Think you never bothered brushing it in, you said it was yuuuuge,,,Smiley...

You getting PPF for your next RS, or are you j]keeping it hairy chest...Smiley

 

Did not have one sone chip , but about 80, all over the front and even on the back fenders around the air intakes  . Most of them very small , and a few bigger .

When I sold the car ( I did it myself ) , I had none of the people who came to see it complain about the stone chips  when I showed them . They all said : No problem I understand , it is normal on a 2nd hand car .  

What seemed to be more important to them , were the disks and pads 

So no, no PPF for me . Thought a lot about it . Repainting if needed is actually cheaper .
