"This should be treated as a lesson for rich and famous people not to jump into the middle of a crisis situation just because their fame allows them to. It would have been absolutely fine, and indeed laudable, for Musk to develop a solution to the problem which could be used by people in the future. But he shouldn’t be making people’s jobs more difficult by turning up in the middle of a rescue operation in an area he has no expertise in. He was rightly called out for his arrogance and presumption of superiority."
