Cars like Ferraris, Porsches, Lambos, Lotus, etc still "drive" differently and provide a different experience than regular cars outside the track and in various hands and various circumstances. More so than cars that have even more HP and claim the "sport" suffix for their non-sportcar class (sport-sedan, sport-utility, sport-hatchback, etc), which while fast will never provide the same experience as a sportcar or be as fun and enjoyable at it. And thats what matters and why we buy them. Can you honestly say the Cayenne puts the same smile on your face when you see that winding road or that open strecth of highway than the Spyder?

The "feel" different in spirited driving in the streets, they make that familiar routine corner much more fun, they sound different, they connect you with the machine more, they challenge you more, etc. You don't have to be at a track driving at the limit of the cars posibilities or be a profesional racing driver to notice you are driving a Ferrari Spyder like yours. Driving up a mountain road on the weekend, or highway commuting to work, or a holiday trip in a spirited fashion is already more than enough from the Boxster to a 996TT to a CGT, from the F360 to the Enzo, from the Elise to the Radical SR4. The higher the performance of the car, the less experience per value you are going to get out of it, but that happens with everything in our lives, from a bottle of wine to the lawyer or Dr. you hire, the better the product, the more you pay for that improvement exponentially, they all have their place
