Yesterday I sold our MY14 Cayman 2.7. The new car, because of its 2.0 liter engine (less tax), decreases the cayman list price by 30%. It is too new and not known by the market; so it doesn't effect our resale value much. I think in 3-4 months, 981.1 cayman prices will depreciate 15-20% more in Turkish market.

Now thinking of ordering the 718 with more options for 2017 March delivery. 

Yes, for some markets, the downsizing is surely a benefit (Italy as well?). 

No, in Italy the "Superbollo" is based on power. IIRC you pay 20 Euros annually for every KW in excess of 185. Also, I think you get some "discount" on that as the car gets older.
