Whoopsy:

Silver wheels only looks good when they are clean and not driven. Just driving around the block and sliver wheels became an eye sore.

black wheels hide brake dust VERY well, so is Porsche's satin platinum, or sort of titanium colour to a certain extend.

One will never find brake dust on black wheels when looking, while on the platinum ones one will start to see them when they are heavily accumulated.

Actually on second thought the black one shows heavy accumulations too, they are of an dark greyish tint on black wheels.

On the other hand, PCCB helps A LOT, next to zero brake dust, if not for carbon brakes, silver wheels will never come back in style. 

Those 3 piece silver Speedlines on my Turbo 3.6 are one of the worse! On par with the mesh wheels from the 80s. Just cleaning 4 wheels will take one 3 hours.

 

Ill clean them once per year, thats why people think mine is Black rims...
