Have seen posts concerning the following times in gears...5th gear 50-75mph in 3.8 secs, 6th gear 50-70mph in 5.4 secs. Given that there is some initial turbo lag how are these times recorded...do you start at 48 or 49 mph, floor it and then start timing at 50. I can't believe these cars will give these times ...if the car is steady at 50 and then exactly at the same time the stopwatch is started and the pedal floored it can produce these stated times ..At these low rpm's the initial lag is obvious. What am I missing? My car cannot duplicate these times and it seems quite healthy...there's just that 1+sec lag at these lower rpms. Should I be concerned?
