I'm ready to close in on the purchase of used 987 but on rainy days I would like to escape to the garage and spend some quality time with my car. I may be sick but I love washing, waxing, buffing, cleaning and treating my car with T.L.C. However, I would also enjoy some "under the hood time" changing plugs, oil, filter etc. Based on all I hear and read the "under the hood time" should be left to the shop pros. In order to save some money, and still feel like I am contributing to the running success of my car, is there anything outside of cleaning etc., that is safe to do under the hood or elsewhere? My garage is my santuary I plan on sending some pics, I'm surprised more GARAGE pics are not posted. There is not a auto nut alive that is not interested in getting ideas, from other auto nuts, on applications they can apply to there own garage.
