Conny997:

Well,  can't contribute much to girl names oder names for a sports car...yes smiley

But the extract of the interview (AB Sportcars 8/2017) with Audi Sport CEO Stephan Winkelmann:
according to his statement there will be no Turbo V8 or similar for the R8. On the other hand there will be different performance variants for the V10. This can be interpreted in both directions, at the first place increasing performance (for sure), but also a more tame version of the V10 would be possible.

More remarkable is his statement that the V10 will remain the right engine for the R8. For me this means that the R8 will have no future and will probably be sacrificed for a Porsche 960, as Christian had already written it correctly.

So we're still at the same point: bye, bye R8 sooner or laterlaugh

The latest Auto Motor und Sport also mentions that VW miay not want the R8 anymore because the Lamborghini Huracan sells already at 75% R8 capacity and the 911 sells in one year better than the whole production of the previous R8 generation.
