From what I hear the cars come with very poor alignment from the factory and sorting that out improves the 4c substantially.  However, the steering is never as good as a Lotus, which is weird because they both are non-assisted and should have great feel. 

If for track only, I might inquire if Lotus is offering any Elise Cups with paddle shift sequential, like they do with the Exige V6 cup. 

The only Elise with paddle shift is the Elise CUP PB-R, which has been designed by PB Racing in partnership with Lotus.
