Gauss:

why don't you buy a GT3 or GT3 RS, maybe that will rekindle your Porsche love?

Nope. Drove a GT3 RS a couple of times. Great car but at lower speeds no more fun than my 991.1 C4 GTS Cab. This car is fun when you can rev it high on a track.

GT3? Well, good offer from Porsche but it wouldn't be any improvement for me.

Like I said, the R8 ruined the 911 for me. Some people I know testdrove it and were equally impressed with the R8 but I always hear "but it is an Audi" or "if Porsche would make this, I would get it instantly", so some people care more about appearances than emotions but of course the GT3 is the better track tool if you are serious about track driving.

I need a weekend fun toy instead and the R8 is perfect in that domain.
