The new boxster with 3.4L is said to have some remapping to its tip s gearbox. Would the software be upgraded for improved response on my 987s 2006 3.2L. This is a question for tip s owners only.

Finally, I have yet to reach 5000 km yet so I had not redlined or went past 5500 rpm. However, a few tip s owners did mention that the system will adjust according to your driving habits and if you drive more leisurely it responses accordingly and if you are more aggressive, it becomes more responsive. Hence, it has some learning to the system. I wasn't aware of this feature but does anyone know from first hand experience.

In any case, contributors did tell me to rev up the engine a bit every morning and the response would improve over time. Ideas? Inputs?
