Well VW charges minimal for the DSG but if I were Porsche I would wanna cash in like the PCCB option. I drive a tip in HK for obvious reasons and I find it just fine for city driving. It is definitely nothing compared to the DSG when it comes to manual shifting but I would not be surprised to see Porsche parallel running all 3 systems from stick, tip to DSG giving out manual and tip for free yet charging a huge premium for the DSG.

My guess is that an announcement will be made very soon together with the facelift in 2008. I am in then but definitely not for the 2008 997 cos buying first generation of the DSG may not be a good idea so the 998 DSG is something to wait for.
