I have always stayed away from Michelin tires because of my experience in wet conditions, they always were poor performers compared to other makes of tires.

I remember my first Porsche had Michelin tires. Everytime it rained in sunny Cali, it was the equivalent to driving on ice. Switched over to Dunlop and the problem was solved.



They actually simulate driving on ice, despite it being 30 degrees centigrade outside. Had it only been wet, he would've had no problems at all.
