Easy. By adding ISO standard allowance of 75 kg for driver and luggage (68 and 7 kg respectively) to the unladen weight of 1585 kg as measured according to German DIN standard, to arrive at the weight of 1660 kg as measured according to the international ISO standard.



Or, they actually weighed it with a full tank of gas.



DIN standard unladen weight includes 90% full fuel tank, plus other operating fluids like coolant, oils, brake fluid.

90% of about 66 liter 997 fuel tank would only weigh about 48 kg.



I'll bet you donuts to dollars the turbo will weigh more than 1600kg without a driver.
