Just imagine Trump wins the presidential election, interest rates go up through the roof and people do not invest in cars anymore? indecision 

Naahhh....I think getting a Ford GT as an investment would be a good bet, especially since Ford doesn't plan to make many of these.

I will admit that I benefitted greatly from ZIRP/NIRP that inflated the value of my Carrera GT to the point wherein I could swap it for my 918.  Quite a feat of automotive progress!

However, ZIRP/NIRP-forever reminds me of turning up the boost past the point of no return and expecting the thrill to last beyond a few more laps.
