Indeed, today's sportscars have become too quick for the Ring. 

Also the reason why they're currently removing 2 bumps before the jump at Flugplatz which unsettled the car.

Maybe if drivers would have a more "intelligent" chassis setup for their cars, this wouldn't be necessary. Many drivers believe that as low and as stiff as possible is the way to go. Then, they shouldn't be surprised. Smiley 

But they're doing it not because of the Tourifahrer, but because the GT3 cars have become too fast, with some of them having a tendency to take off and fly into the spectators.
