Can you report yet on pulling out of uphill 2nd gear corners?

Still haven't received my car stateside.  In Swiss Alps, I actually used 1st gear for some of the steep uphill switchbacks (double clutch downshifts - combo of manual blip in neutral and auto-rev into 1st).

2nd gear is about 10.5 mph per 1,000 rpm - so 2nd gear is much too tall for that (use 1st instead).  Motor doesn't really come alive until 4,500 rpm (47 mph in 2nd).
