Never know until see prices. But yes would consider. I have a deposit on a 960 and a value comparison needs to be made.

I can't imagine any scenario in which the 960 wouldn't be a better deal, unless they really change the plans in some unfortunate way.  My guess is the 960 will be gasoline-only twin-turbo Flat-8 based on the 9A1 block with 600-700hp, AWD, and cost less than $300k.  Seems like much more than 1/3 the car than the 918 is.

Hope you are right. Was at the dealer today and in the past they were skeptical about the 960 but they now are fairly confident it will happen. I think we are looking at the earliest 2017 model announced 2016.
