What I find interesting is the article states that Porsche believes most buyers of the GT3 will order the $9400 PCCB's. If the internet is any judge, Porsche will be very disappointed. Not many buyers who spec'ed their cars have ordered the PCCB's. I certainly will not. In fact, it is almost unanimous that PCCB's are not worthy of track work.

Nick, PCCB's are great.  They are the only item on my 997S (nine years old) which have been extremely reliable.  I've never had to have my brakes repaired.  Maybe you can offset the price of repairs against the $9400 price tag.  If you're not keeping your GT3 too long, maybe you can offset the price you would sell the car for, against the $9400 price tag.
